But the biggest thrill was yet to come!  In August 2005, Paddington competed at the Tracking Club's Champion of Champions weekend with his very capable handler, Dawn Howard.  He was named the Champion of Champions!  There were smiles all round!

In 2009 Paddington began training with Dawn for the new Track and Search Dog tests.  At the inaugural Track and Search Dog Trial held by the Tracking Club of Victoria he earned passes in TSD Test 1 and TSD Test 2 and at the next TSD trial he earned his Track Search Dog Title.

The two brothers, Tully and Paddington, were two of the first three Golden Retrievers in Australia to earn this title!  Congratulations to Kampei who was the third!

At the next TSD trial, Tully and Paddington both earned their TSD Test 4 passes.  Paddington's test ran along a gravel road and then a bitumen road which had apparently been crossed by the senior's walking group after the track was laid!  Well done to Paddington and his handler Peter Howard.
