In March 2002, Paddington entered his first obedience trial.  Although he made a mistake which cost him a qualifying score at this trial, he worked brilliantly and at his second trial he gained a qualifying score and was awarded First Place in his ring.  Paddington was awarded his second qualifying score the following week.  At his next trial he earned his third qualifying score which earned him the title of Companion Dog (CD) at

the age of thirteen months!
Paddington gained a further three qualifying scores at his next three trials including another First Place at Albury & Border Kennel Club.  His result in Novice was six qualifying scores from seven trials which is quite an achievement. 

Paddington qualified for his first open pass at only sixteen months of age.  He quickly gained two more qualifying scores and gained his Companion Dog Excellent Title (CDX).
