She went ahead in leaps and bounds, gaining her Companion Dog title in 2001 and achieving Best in Trial at the German Shepherd Dog Club in July 2001 with a score of 193 points out of 200.

With her three highest scores in 2001, she was awarded Northern Obedience Dog club's Obedience Dog of the Year Perpetual Trophy.

April qualified for her Companion Dog Excellent title in April 2004 and was awarded the Highest Scoring Obedience Dog in Open by the Northern Obedience Dog Club in 2004 .  Next stop will be the UD ring! 

April has raised three lovely litters of puppies and handled it all with style and aplomb.  She seems to enjoy teaching puppies all about life.  She also helped out when Teagan had her puppies.

Her daughter Jaimee has qualified for her Companion Dog title and has two wins towards her Novice Retrieving Dog title.
